Dramaturg

Paul was Literary Manager at Soho Theatre from 1994-2001. During his time at Soho Paul created and implemented the vision for Soho’s celebrated Writers’ Centre and worked on numerous productions of new plays.

Paul was dramaturg at the Royal Shakespeare Company from 2001-2005 where he worked with Michael Boyd and other top directors on the production of new plays, adaptations and classics including the RSC’s celebrated season of Spanish Golden Age plays led by Lawrence Boswell and Michael Boyd’s adaptation of Anne Wroe’s book on Pontius Pilate.

Paul has also worked as a freelance dramaturg on a wide variety of projects for West End producers and numerous other companies including the Royal Court and National Theatre.
